Two gorgeous gowns (and some blog love).
Earlier in the week, I somehow ran across a delicious blog, A La Parisienne. Yeah, I know I'm still reeling from my lovely trip to Paris earlier in the month, but... the images on this blog are so delicate and romantic! For proof, just look at these Elie Saab gowns I discovered over there. =)

Have a fab weekend!

Places to find color inspiration.
If you are having a hard time deciding on or putting together a color palette for your big day, there are lots of places to turn for inspiration. As I mentioned earlier in the week, the Pantone website is a great place to start. There are many posts on this blog that are tagged "color combinations" to check out, as well. Otherwise, visit any or all of these beautiful blogs for hundreds of great ideas:
Hope you have a fab weekend! Thanks for dropping by. =)

Peacock-inspired dessert glam.
I'm working on an art deco-inspired wedding that draws color inspiration from a peacock. Imagine my excitement when I came across this beautiful post on Style Me Pretty a couple of weeks ago. Aren't these photos exquisite? Follow the link above for full credits.

Color Combo: Berry, Blue Raspberry, Kelly + Goldenrod.
It's March! Spring is near! When Lori Marie posted a recent (and delightful) foray into crochet on her Pretty Little Things blog last week, I felt inspired to put together a color combination board in her honor. Filled with juicy colors (berry, blue raspberry, kelly green + goldenrod), this palette would be oh-so-appropriate for this time of year. Don't these colors just fill you with joy?

Aviary-inspired cake.
I *love* the cake from this wedding, which was featured on Style Me Pretty yesterday. The happy couple incorporated a lot of sweet, but subtle bird details that are all fantastic. But this cake... it's beautiful!

As a side note, if you haven't checked out the new Style Me Pretty yet, you should! =)

Getting married in the mountains.
Living in Seattle is pretty sweet when the weather cooperates. After a lovely, spring-like weekend, we are set to have a couple of sunny days this week, as well. I get a bit impatient this time of year, wishing I could take a long hike towards a hidden wildflower meadow or secret mountain lake. Alas, the snow will linger for a couple more months, so I'll have to be satisfied looking at these magical mountain wedding pics.

A darling placecard idea.

I love this darling placecard idea from Papier Valise. Wouldn't it have been cute for Easter? Seeing how I already have the little Martha Stewart bird punch in my collection, I might just have to tuck this idea away for next year. Check out the link for a full step-by-step tutorial. So cute!

Etsy finds: Sassy little clutches made by Hank.

It's been awhile since my last week full of Etsy features, so I thought I'd kick off another one this week. Yay! There will surely be some jewelry to drool over and hopefully a little something for the fellas, too.
The first seller I'm featuring is madebyhank. Although she isn't accepting custom orders at the moment, there are plenty of sassy little clutches filling her shop at the moment. I love the feminine ruffles and fantastic colors. And, at $20, the small ones (shown above) are quite a deal. Be sure to check out the whole shop to see the entire selection.
Found via Inc. Weddings (to whom I owe a special thank you for featuring on my work earlier this month).
