Holiday 2012: Gift tags galore.

For this final post of holiday goodies, I'd like to share some gift tags with you! These tags will pretty up simple packages (think kraft or solid metallic wrap). The bird and peppermint stripe tags were both printed on my vintage letterpress, and can be used as a bookmark after the holidays. The other two styles are die cut from woodgrain embossed cardstock. All tags are now listed in the Maida Vale Etsy shop. Here's hoping for a delightful holiday season!

Arrow letterpress notecards.

Hi everyone! I'm just back from a much needed trip to Maui. We are so lucky to have Hawaii just a short flight away, so my husband and I took advantage of it. I'm also excited to share some simple new cards with you! These arrow cards are letterpressed on 100% cotton Crane Lettra (in soft white). I paired them up with kraft envelopes. J'adore these cute cookies from BB Sweets on Etsy... especially the love letters. I could see these working really well for a "special delivery" style of shower, as well.

Donating 10% of all Etsy sales in November.

As a way of giving back and giving thanks this November, I am going to donate 10% of all sales in my Etsy shop to ASPCA. In addition, my husband and I will make a donation to the shelter where we adopted one of our sweet kitties nearly 13 years ago.

In case you are curious as to why I have chosen ASPCA: We unfortunately lost both of our furry beasts this year (one to diabetes, the other to cancer) and such loss has left us a hole in our hearts. They were our loyal and loving companions for 12 years, and we are so thankful for every minute (good and bad) that we had with them. The ASPCA works to rescue animals from abuse, pass humane laws and share resources with shelters nationwide. When we adopted our kitty as our local shelter all those years ago, we only had to pay $15 for a friendship I'll never forget.
