New in the shop: samples + letterpress stationery!

I have new goodies to share with you today! I've been a custom stationery fool as of late. Now in the shop, you can find yet another option: 80s-inspired Illusion stationery. Your name is printed in a fun way, and you have a choice of 4 different envelope colors.

In addition to these cards, I finally have a new batch of flat-printed Bloom invitations ready for sampling. Thanks for looking!

As featured in...

Check it out! This is a bit tardy, but hey... Back in January, my wedding invitation line was featured alongside many talented Seattle designers on The Seattle Times' NWsource website. Shown below is only a snippet, so click the link above to see the full article. =)

A wishing tree I'd make a wish for.

So, you know how I just blogged about Mrs. Post and all of its cuteness on Monday? Well, they went and uploaded an adorable photo to their facebook page. Check out this sweet party based around a wishing tree they sell. What lucky person was the recipient of this sweet shindig?!

Mrs. Post.

When I clapped eyes on the adorable Mrs. Post Stationery, I immediately began to wish I lived in (or could at least visit!) Memphis. Seriously, how cute is this store? The grand opening photos found on their facebook page tell me that the store's fine proprietors should also be wedding planners. ;) Have a great weekend!

New monogram blind debossed notecards!

I have more new goodies in the shop! These personalized flat notecards feature you and your beloved's initials, or your full monogram. The initials are chunky and modern, and blind debossed into each card by my vintage press. Now for the fun part...

Instead of coming with only one envelope color, you have a choice of two different sets of colors. You'll receive five of each color depending on which set you choose when purchasing. So, for $40, you receive 20 letterpress notecards + 4 different envelope colors. Thanks for looking, and have a great weekend.

Vintage wedding style done oh-so-right.

I just ran across an image from Heather & Andrew's vintage-inspired wedding and had to revisit the whole album as shot by the talented Julia Newman. The level of detail these two put into their reception is amazing. I'm particularly fond of the brightly patterned vintage napkins you'll see below. Nothing is matchy matchy, yet everything looks just perfectly put together. Enjoy!

All you need is love.

Just wanted to share a peek at some cards a good friend of mine designed recently. We printed them on my vintage letterpress in a soft gray ink on luscious Crane Lettra. I never seem to tire of seeing the end results... To those who celebrate it, Happy Hearts Day. =)

Color Combo: Navy + Kelly Green.

A tad preppy, but always pretty, navy blue and kelly green are a classic wedding color combination. If you dig this, be sure to check out this wedding via Style Me Pretty.

Etsy find: Heart shaped whoopie pies.

Although it may be too late to order for Valentine's Day, Tickle My Tummy makes darling heart shaped whoopie pies that could possibly be darling wedding favors, too. Or, just a simple treat on any old day of the week...

Etsy find: letterpress necklaces + more.

When I was recently given a letterpress H necklace, it brought tears to my eyes. What an appropriate and lovely gift! What I really like about it is that when it's hanging, a casual observer doesn't really know what it is. So, wearing the necklace is kind of like wearing a fun little secret.

In addition to these necklaces, Gwen Delicious offers jewelry made out of typewriter keys and many other goodies. Wouldn't cuff links with your first initials be a great gift to a groom on your wedding day?

Personalized cookbooks.

So, I've obviously been busy! The past couple of weeks have been dedicated to creating everything for an art deco-inspired wedding that I was lucky to attend this weekend. My handsome husband was a groomsman, so this was a special event for both of us.

Each of the attendants was given a personalized Taste Book full of the bride and groom's favorite recipes. The quality is very nice and the couple was able to add a personal message to the front of each book. This may sound off a nerd alert, but I'm insanely geeked about adding my own recipes to it, too.
