New in the shop: faux bois gift tags.

New in the shop this week: faux bois gift tags! These textured tags were created using a delicious white-on-white woodgrain cardstock. The backside of each tag is smooth for your own special little message. Includes 8 gift tags complete with a fun red and white baker's twine. =)

Etsy find: Pixel + Hank.

I love when the front page of Etsy turns me on to a new designer! Yesterday, a fun boutonniere popped up there and I found Pixel & Hank. Lovingly handcrafted by owner Daisy, Pixel & Hank's boutonnieres and headpieces are simply magical. Daisy also has a blog that showcases some of her work as used in real weddings. Go sneek a peek to see how fun her work is. Enjoy!

Off for a bit.

I'm in need of some R&R, so my husband and I are taking off to camp in the Olympic National Park. We're lucky enough to have many parks within a short drive, so we're feeling the need to take advantage of this fact while it's warm!

Anyhow, after I get back, I'm going to take some time to get caught up (and gather inspiration). I'll be back soon... =)

Tilt shift wedding photos.

When I saw the first photo shown below recently, I was pretty geeked to think there could be tilt shift wedding photos out there. I'm not sure if that's what the photographer intended, but it reminded me of that style. If you aren't familiar with tilt shift photography, it's a technique in which the camera (or finished image) is manipulated in order to turn its subject into what looks like a miniature-scale model.

If you'd like to see tilt shift imagery outside of the wedding world, check out this cool article over at Smashing Magazine. Aren't they fun?

"Hello There" Notecards.

Slowly, but surely, I'm adding new things to the shop. Today, I'm excited to share my new flat "hello there" notecards with you. They were printed on my own press, and are on luscious 110# 100% cotton cardstock. They feel like buttah! Also of note: the new peacock-colored envelopes that come with them. Yum...

Three fun Etsy dresses.

Etsy never ceases to amaze me, and these three fashion designers are no different. Michelle Tan's kelly green dress would make for the sweetest vintage-inspired bridesmaid. At $85, it's a complete steal, too. Below are three potential bridesmaid dresses I'm loving right now. Enjoy!
