I'm super excited to be leaving for a much needed vaca in a few weeks. Guess where I'm going? Anyone have leads on memorable meals or must-sees for me?
These dreamy images were taken by photographer Irene Suchocki, and can be found in her Etsy shop. Aren't they incredible?

Oh, how dreamy!
My must see recommendations:
1. Sainte Chapelle - the stained glass is mostly original to the 1300s & will take your breath away.
2. La Maison du Miel - if you like honey, this place is heaven on Earth. They have bajillions of honeys, and quite a few in tiny 2 Tbls jars so you can sample as many as you like. These were my favorite souvenirs.
3. Dehillerin - this is the top restaurant supply store in France. It's in Les Halles & if you love to cook, give yourself a few hours (yes! hours!) to shop here. Copper pots, tart pans, wooden utensils, enameled cast iron... It's all better than Williams Sonoma at half the price.
4. Chartier - eat here. It's like stepping back in time 100 years. It's at 7 rue du Faubourg Montmartre, 9th, M° Grands Boulevards. Traditional french menu, very decent prices, brisk service (not rude, just
professional--if you speak a bit of french they'll flirt with you
:-) and an INCREDIBLE atmosphere. Belle epoque. The walls are
covered in lockable cubbies that hold the napkins of regulars.
If you want more details just email me. :-)
Oh, have a lovely time. What a wonderful trip!!!
Oops, I almost forgot this place:
À la Mère de Famille - Candy store straight out of Amelie...
Where did all those hearts come from in the photos? So sweet!
Jess, thank you so much for these GREAT tips. You are a star. =)
Amberdawn: I believe the artist used a filter to create this look. Isn't it great?
yeah Heather - Paris is wonderful! I am so excited for you! Don't you love Irene's work? I covet it often. I can not wait to hear about it all!
