Shop Etsy, Support Haiti.

Starting today (Friday, January 29), the Etsy Wedding Team shop will be full of wedding and non-wedding items that have been donated by team members (including Maida Vale). 100% of the proceeds (less Etsy and Paypal fees) will be donated to The American Red Cross for relief and development in Haiti. Why not pop by and take a look? Thanks!

Susan + Todd.

Remember the bright orange + lime green stationery I created for Susan & Todd's wedding awhile back? Today, I'm excited to share a glimpse of their big day with images by talented photographer Corinna Raznikov! I just love the colorful touches Susan & Todd incorporated into everything from the ties to the flowers. The overall effect is just so happy.

Be sure to drop by Corinna's blog for many more wedding photos. Congrats to Susan & Todd!

Color Combo: Turquoise, Blue Raspberry + Butter.

I know I post a lot of color combinations that feature some shade of blue, but I can't get enough of it! When I saw The Paper Addict's fun and colorful table confetti, it sparked something. And, how could I resist an opportunity to dream about that cake a little more? Aah.

Etsy find: Sashes from icing101.

I love these pretty sashes from icing101! They would add such a lovely pop of color to a simple gown, and could easily be worn time and time again after the wedding. I can easily picture adding one of these to J.Crew's elegant and minimal dresses, for instance. Enjoy!

Cheese, please!

I love a good candy buffet, but a cheese buffet? Yes, please! Sunday Suppers did such a great job putting this together. I especially love the hand-illustrated signage. Tres chic!

Macarons: a tasty little favor.

Thought I'd share some images of yummy macarons today. They are such a delight because they're tasty and pretty. Plus, macarons come in a myriad of flavors. Imagine them in a dessert buffet, or wrapped up in a pretty package for guests to take away. I particularly enjoy Bouchon Bakery's macarons, but they're readily available at many other bakeries or you can attempt to make your own. Either way, edible favors always seem to be the most popular kind.

Christina + Brandon.

Christina + Brandon's cheerful wedding is just adorable, with no detail overlooked. Not only do I love the pie buffet, but the guest polaroids strung above it is such a fun touch. Also worth noting are their handmade escort cards and vintage juice glass favors. What great ideas! Photos by Amanda Kraft Photography.
