Cupcakes + Couture.

I had a wonderful time at Cupcakes & Couture yesterday! Trophy Cupcakes is darling, and there were a lot of talented vendors in the room. Good times. Just wanted to share a few photos of the event including me with Santa (!). I told him I've been good this year.

Donating 10% of all Etsy sales in November.

As a way of giving back and giving thanks this November, I am going to donate 10% of all sales in my Etsy shop to ASPCA. In addition, my husband and I will make a donation to the shelter where we adopted one of our sweet kitties nearly 13 years ago.

In case you are curious as to why I have chosen ASPCA: We unfortunately lost both of our furry beasts this year (one to diabetes, the other to cancer) and such loss has left us a hole in our hearts. They were our loyal and loving companions for 12 years, and we are so thankful for every minute (good and bad) that we had with them. The ASPCA works to rescue animals from abuse, pass humane laws and share resources with shelters nationwide. When we adopted our kitty as our local shelter all those years ago, we only had to pay $15 for a friendship I'll never forget.
