10% off ends Sunday!

Don't forget: the 10% discount code ends this Sunday (February 28). Take advantage of it while you can! Enjoy...

My current loves.

If there's one thing I love to do when I'm a little bored or in need of inspiration, it's window shopping on Etsy. Although this is off topic, I thought I'd share some of the things I'm currently coveting. This might even shed a little light on my personal taste and style (which is quirky to say the least). ;)

Because I am a major anglophile: Mini Coasters from vitamini

Because it's rad and so 80s: Keyboard Clutch by TooToo

Because me & my man put the kettle on every night: Kettle Mug by MrPS

Because I am a native Hoosier: Indiana Pendant by truche

One gorgeous gown: Lela Rose.

How gorgeous is this Lela Rose gown? The open back is sexy and elegant, and the beading emphasizing it is exquisite. You know I love the overall vintage flair it has, as well.

For the record, I'm still totally obsessed with her scoopneck gown that I blogged about in July... ;)

Sour Apple + Robin's Egg.

My husband and I attended a beautiful wedding this past weekend (Congrats Ailey & Ritchie!). There were many lovely, personal details weaved into the event and, as a result, it felt really special and different. During the cocktail hour, a mariachi band softly played while guests were treated to signature cocktails inspired by the couple's travels. After dinner, a touching slideshow gave guests a glimpse into the couple's past. And, finally, a detail I really loved was the display of delicious Top Pot doughnuts the bride and groom chose in lieu of a traditional cake. Fabulous!

Anyhow, I was honored to create a version of my Wren invitation for Ailey & Ritchie. The bride chose a pretty patterned paper that I used to create sashes that held the entire suite together. Paired with a sour apple envelope, the overall look was bright and happy. A perfect reflection of such a fun and loving couple!

Samples now available in the shop. Thanks!

Bright, vintage-inspired bridesmaid dresses.

I just adore these two Aria bridesmaid dresses (especially the second one!). They come in a myriad of bright colors, are reasonably priced, and are clearly vintage-inspired. These type of necklines are typically flattering on just about any body shape, too. Just lovely...

Vintage hair accessories.

I'm absolutely loving Jennifer Behr's Spring 2010 collection! I'm especially digging the vintage-inspired design of this piece, and the rock-n-roll vibe of this one. For brides not planning on wearing a veil, any of these are a great alternative. Enjoy!

Creative garlands.

I've had French designer Anastasia Jamin bookmarked in my Etsy faves for some time now. She creates darling felt garland that can be customized to your preferred color palette. Wouldn't these add a fun touch at a reception, or as a background for posed photos?

A real life Etsy wedding.

When I was flipping through the current issue of Real Simple Weddings, I was excited to see the wedding of Cynthia + Les. Not only are they a gorgeous couple (look at those smiles!), but the colors and little details they incorporated are so stylish. Many items were created by either Etsy vendors (which you know I love!) or the happy couple, so their big day was a true handmade wedding. Links follow below. Enjoy!

The perfect wedding shoe?

The At Tiffany's shoe from Hey Lady might be the most perfect wedding shoe I've ever clapped eyes on. Sweet, scalloped and blue? I'm in love.

Hope you all have a great week?
